Is there a website to look up old ISP's?

I had two from the mid 90's that I can't remember....

My first Dial up account was paid for by my parents and it was AT&T Worldnet This was back in '98-99 then I got Optimum Online from the Wiz when It first came out In 2000 when it was $29.99 a month (Now only new customers get that rate and for only a year and then they jack it up to $44.95, Bastards) I have been using Optimum online Ever since 2000 as cablevision is the only thing I can get here and I can't put a dish on the building says the landlord

IDT -- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IDT_Corp... don't think they're even an ISP anymore.

after a couple months with idt, I switched over to AOL (2.0) because that's where my friends were.

at some point in the mid 90's, I was also on mindspring, but it was mostly just AOL, because my sister liked it and it didn't matter much to me -- I just minimized the AOL window after connecting and opened up Netscape.

since then, my ISP has been solely dictated based on where I've lived.

Can't remember the first (I was about 5 when we got internet in 93), but I remember we switched to Earthlink in 96. Verizon DSL in 2002, still use that today. Fortunately I have insanely fast University connections now.

IIRC, Compuserve...2400 baud I think...maybe it was 4800...WAY too long ago, and I've slept since then.

I was in college when the internet first came out, so I had access to broadband back then, in a ways. When I convinced my parents to get online back in 1993 using NCSA Mosaic browser, it was with AT&T Worldnet. Wow, what a horrible service.
