what exactly defines trip hop? i can't distinguish this genre from others.

Generally speaking Trip-Hop infers most of the Bristols bands. Ie,. PH, Tricky, Massive Attack, etc.. I describe it as a cerebral hip-hop. Bouncy beat with some depth. Kinda hard to understand, let alone explain, if you haven't heard it.

If you like PH try Radiohead, Air, Massive Attack, and U.N.K.L.E.

Really? damn...I love the new Incubus album. I've listened to it so much. I know it's not as hard as their old stuff but I like the change.
