That's how Clinton got her teeth kicked in running on vote for me because Trump is a piece of shit. For example she should be shouting from the rooftops about the $2000 annual cap on out of pocket expenses for seniors on Medicare Part D that goes into effect for 2025 but that Trump will 100% reverse if elected. That's one of the scariest things in the world for seniors, that they'll be bankrupted by drug prices.

Having a candidate that can actually campaign vs. one that can't given you a lot more upside just out of the gate.
