Funny how any white guy is automatically qualified in the right's eyes but any woman or person of color is automatically a DEI hire that isn't qualified. For example, look at some of the climate activists like Sunrise (who have been absorbed by the omnicause) - no political reward for the largest climate bill to date, or antiwar people re: drones/Afghanistan - just adversarial criticism or crickets.Something else of note happened at the convention besides the VP pick. So far guys like Hawley and now Vance are trying to walk the line of just enough left wing economic populism (see Vance's previous comments about Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Bros) to court even more blue collar workers. I'm not saying they're genuine in their comments, only that it's clearly their strategy.If the Teamsters want to forgo any political power in return for less than nothing because their membership likes Trump then that's their business.
