So the best the left can come up with now for the debate last night is "Romney is gonna kill big bird!"

Really? That's the best you can come up with? Mind of the liberal right there.

*sigh*

Spidey, you're such a fucking tool.

Notice how your post has absolutely no content at all... it's because you're a fucking idiot and you have nothing to contribute to this forum at all.

I'm not sure why I waste my time posting since you seem to genuinely lack the ability to comprehend even the most simplest of terms laid out for you.

You post because it makes you feel better to tell him the truth. Spidey may or may not be uncomprehendingly stupid, his posts certainly do indicate that he is. But he most certainly is vastly shorter on sanity than any person I've ever been aware to exist that hasn't gone on a murder spree.

Short memories... Romney didn't even legitimately win the primaries. If the iowa primary was properly counted without rushing off to the next... how would that impact the rest of the primaries?

How many people were convinced that winning iowa was the be all end all and jumped on the romney bandwagon at that point only to later find out ( and disregard ) the fact that he lost iowa?

It's only because of Obama that everything is so fucked right now. Removing him is the first step to get the country back on track. We've seen this before with Carter, it's the exact same, following the same path and misery was at an all time high. Just like now.

The solution is simple. Get rid of fuckstain in office and we'll get back on track immediately. You saw what this president really is last night, that's how the rest of the world leaders view him as well.

A whooped, meak, mangy dog.

"It's only because of Obama that everything is so fucked right now."

That has got to be one of the stupiest things anyone has said on the forums. We have systemic problems that span decades, I agree Obama has done nothing to really solve any of these issues but to insinuate everything is bad because of obama is epic dumb.

You misunderstand me. I meant "any less bias than they already are." Woolfe implied that the left side of the media is somehow unbiased based on the fact that they admitted Romney won.

I have no issue saying that Fox News is more bias than almost any single one of their peers, but given the collective bias of all other mainstream networks, they have to compensate somehow.

Never said they were any better. Comparing two types of apples doesn't make one an orange.

What?

2008: Obama wins debates, Fox claims McCain won.
2012: Romney wins debate, CNN, MSNBC etc. claim Romney won.

That suggests they are worse. Which is what I think the whole point is.

And this is not a 1+1=2 scenario. Those networks could have easily pulled Romney's statments apart, criticized them, and called Obama the winner.

You're insane. Everything he has done has harmed our country. We were going strong in the 2000s and now look at the mess Obama has us in.

Savings down
net worth down
income down
cost of energy skyrocketing
cost of everything skyrocketing

All in just 3.5 short years. We simply cannot take 4 more years of his destruction, can't do it.

Some of you have your mouths full... of either Obama's cock (dank69, for example) or Romney's cock (spidey07, for example).

I'm gay and I want nothing to do with either of their cocks.

I'm really not sure what that even means. :hmm:

No, I'm quite certain that Woolfe meant that the "liberal media" is less biased overall than Fox News.

I hope that wink implies you are joking with this statement.

Well, from that super-surprise 2007 video, I know Obama kept his promise about reforming healthcare...

He did not reform health care, unless you mean he promised not to do anything to address health care cost. Kind of weird that his law is almost a thousand pages, but you only ever hear him, or anyone else speak on three or four points in it.

Romney won the debate.. Overall, I didn't really learn anything..

Obama kept saying Romney is proposing a "5 trillion tax cut", to which Romney countered "I don't have a tax cut in my plan"

And he is right.. In Romney's mind he will offset each of these "cuts", the problem is that this is not realistic.. The number BO was quoting was what Romney's plan would actually COST ( not necessarily direct cuts to the wealthy)

If the president intent was to focus on the "low information voter" or whatever the term is, he should have done better to walk through this instead of just repeating "5 trillion" and looking confused.

I don't see it winning over any undecided for Romney, but it sure will motivate his base that they are still in the game.

I think it's fair to say that one could not conclude any left bias on the part of the MSM based upon their reactions to the debates last night, which reactions were MORE Romney favorable than that of the general public. Polls are showing Romney the clear winner, but depending on the polls, somewhere between 1/3 and 1/2 think that either Obama won OR it was a tie. But the MSM - where probably 50+ pundits were commenting, I'm not sure a single one said it was even a tie. So when you say they're just acknowledging the obvious, I would say it wasn't as obvious to the entire general public. This includes a CNN survey of undecideds (i.e. not democrats) where over half said it was either a tie or an Obama win.

Perhaps the media has a small left slant and perhaps it doesn't. None was in evidence last night. Some pundits could easily have said "Romney won on style but lost on substance" and picked apart his facts, but they didn't even do that. There was some fact checking of Romney's statements along with Obama's, but I didn't hear a single one even making that claim even though it could have been made quite credibly.

Romney pummeled Obama.

This is the man leading our country folks. Barrack Obama who can't even articulate well. Who doesn't have the facts. Who lost a debate to a lousy car salesman. Romney made such glaring falsities? Then why didn't Obama call him out.

Face it guys. You can't fix the economy. And Obama can't and couldn't fix the economy. It isn't a simple issue. Chances are that the solution is something that AVERAGE and above average people won't understand. Heck, it might take a PHD to understand it. Romney understands it. Does it matter if you don't understand how Romney is going to fix the economy?

The fact is, he knows his shit. He knows the economy far better than any of us. If any of us knew the economy as well as he did, then we would be worth 200million as well. And Obama doesn't understand the economy either. If Romney were to articulate in full detail every loophole he would close, spending he would cut, etc., and how it would fix the economy, it would take a 200-slide powerpoint presentation.

The answer isn't a simple one line: raise taxes on rich. It just isn't.

What are you talking about? The '08 elections didn't need that (Hope n Change!), neither does this one - or the ones we'll have in the future.

Quite the insight there.

The differences are that we have an incumbent ('08 didn't), and we have the current president's record to evaluate while there's little to judge Romney on aside from what he says he will do.

How long would it take for Romney to detail one loophole he would close?
