Fair enough, but I think Guilliani goes beyond corporate whoring, or religious whoring, or any other kind of whoring. He's just your basic, all purpose whore. I liked him for about 5 seconds after 9/11, until I realized he is a complete and total assclown. I generally try and stay away from making it personal, but in his case I really have to make an exception.
Now McCain, I like that guy. Of course I don't think there is a chance in hell he'd get the Republican nomination, he's spoken his mind way too often lately, especially leading up to the 2004 election.
I totally agree with you, except I have had Guilliani as a mayor for 8 years, so I know from personal experience.
Also, I think McCain can run and win. He is already in the middle, unlike Kerry, who was in the far left before he somehow magically became moderate. People tend to trust McCain and many Democrats feel that he is more of a Democrat moderate than a Republican Moderate. These factors can lead to a Landslide victory if McCain wins the Repub Primary and faces a weak Moderate Democrat. However, if he faces a Staunch Leftist like Clinton, it may be more of a tossup.
