Who writes the best reviews?

I'm curious to see whom you all like for your review information. Seems Tom's hardware is AMD-biased, Sharky is clearly Intel-biased, and Anand plays it down the middle (if you don't count that whole interview with Rambus where he explained that they're not so evil after all). Where else?

I find Sharkyextreme to be the most informed, considered and up to date hardware website on the net... since i ate Alex Ross with some fava beans and a bottle of chianti sss ss ss

It depends on what the word "best" means. I enjoy AT's reviews and also Game PC's. Tom's can be nice when you're in the mood for a certain slanty writing style and to really get nuts I sometimes visit HardOCP. Bottom line is shop around and never rely on one site for the nitty of the gritty.

I fall asleep before Sharky get's to his point.. way too many pages usually.

depends how you define the best reviews. if unbiased reviews are the criteria i think anand does a better job that tom or sharky

"best" is pretty simple really.

1) honesty and lack of slant.
2) quantity/quality of information--benchmarks, good benchmarks, explanations. Sharkyextreme for instance claims that the p4 is the best gaming cpu because it performs well in q3a. Problem.
3) well written. No grammatical mistakes, good literary style. Not to pick on Sharky (well yes, to pick on sharky) the stupid references to cartoons and would-be jokes that fall flat don't cut it.

i want to second elchen's vote for firingsquad as a good site. they have a good mix of hardware reviews and the site is filled with game reviews/guides when there is nothing new on the hardware front.
