That is awesome! I wonder what he used to make sure he had good signal strength for the camera. Too bad it isn't manufactured, I might just have to buy one!

That's pretty technologically advanced for a DIY toy. Very impressive

Think of the spying possibilities!

Video has some good bass at parts, a nice low D for example. My subwoofer likes

Thats an awesome toy. Put the plane in a free fall and see how many people would puke

Thats it the coolest rc toy I have seen and would be the ****** to own, to bad the government would step in and ruin it and not allow us to own one and claim it is because of a National security risk.

That is the coolest toy I have ever seen. I would love to have one. Being that I'll never own a real airplane, this would be the closest to flying one myself that I would prolly ever get. Hopefully someone can mass produce these at an affordable cost. Something like $1500 - $2000 sounds reasonable, considering it would come with an Airplane, R/C, Camera, VR Goggles and few other things.

I love how the guy painted little "instruments" on the "dash" in front of the camera so it looks even more realistic...

I've watched that clip a lot since seeing it on digg a week or so ago and it never gets old. I wish the guy would put up a website with some details on the VR goggles + motion controlled camera.

You can do it for around 5 or 600 less your PC. And since most of us have PC's.......

Look into Slowsticks and BlackwidowAV

You can also check RC Universe Aerial photographyt forums. They have an entire forum set up for this. The slowsticks seem to give the best video, anything else seems to be a bit fast. The slowstick stuff though is just awesome.

ETA: I just wacthed the video. He has another slow flier, which as you can see is great for video. The gassers quite frankly just haul too much ass in my opinion to give a good video. I'm sure you can buy better equipment to account for that, but then you end up with more money and/or more weight. Neither is really ideal.

This guys setup is probably the the best I've seen.

Strap on a pair of air to ground missiles and you've got yourself some serious fun times.
