this guy in his 70s or 80s almost hit me once cuz he ran a red light. the light turned red for him and i started crossing. he was far away so i assumed he would stop when he reached the light, but he didnt, and he almost hit me. i didnt even know he was there until i heard a car screech. i looked to the left, and an inch away from me was his car. he didnt say anything. just kept looking forward. and i moved on.

Simply hit the gas instead of the brake? WTF? That would take a person all of a fraction of a second to correct that and apply the brake. This a$$hole drove at high speed for blocks.
