Whoah, I can feel the current going through the computer's power cord

I know a magnetic field surrounds the current in a wire, but why can I feel something moving inside the wire? Feels so wierd.

uhmm you shouldn't feel it shaking. it's probably the case shaking and the vibrations making their way through the cord.

although you can feel and it hear it in a transformer. but not a single cable.

because its connected to a PS that has a fan on it. the fan is causing the PS to vibrate slightly which makes the cable vibrate slightly.

More wires, but those wires don't vibrate. The wire goes from PSU to a surgeprotector/outlet.

Oh my god, I just felt the cable that goes form my GPU to VGA monitor, and it is shaking the most. It is vibrating 2x the power cord.

I understand the power cable vibration. The GPU cable is shaking because of the GPU fan? It's an OC'ed ati 9600, it shouldn't cause much shaking.

Well, that's definitely not current. Because NO CURRENT GOES THROUGH THAT CABLE. It's just digital/analog signals to the monitor. I bet you're missing something really obvious here...is your CD ROM drive spinning a lot? Hard drive?

My comptuer does hum, but only these cables are vibrating. Why shouldn't the network cable vibrate? Or is it that only these two cables vibrate because of their thickness?
