Whoah there was a bomb threat at our school

and we stayed outside on the field for like the whole morning.

When that whole thing went down at Columbine, someone in our school had written a hit list with popular kids names on it, and caused all kinds of stuff to go on. Bomb threats would scare the hell outta me, because the way schools are nowadays, you never know.

There was a bomb threat 2 years ago in what is now my high school. They didn't do anything but offer a $1000 reward for whoever turned in the guy who made the threat, and right away he was turned in

We had about 3 or 4 bomb threats at our school after the Columbine shootings happened last year. We had to sit out in the bleachers at the football field. One was because someone wrote something like "blow up the school" in a bathroom, and some others were called in. Of course, the usual fingers were pointed (goths, etc), and the threats didn't turn out into anything more than that.

I remember a bombthreat at my highschool when I was in 8th grade - but there really was a bomb!!! I guess the kid who made it wasn't a very talented pyro, the thing didn't go off. Everyone from the high school sat in our junior high gym the whole day, and I was stuck in art class all day long!

The year before I went to my high school there was a senior prank there... supposed to be a smoke bomb that covered the whole school.

It turned out to be a real bomb that shot huge jets of flame all over the main quad. I don't think anybody was killed, but those guys' lives were ruined.

Jesus, Bomb threats were regular things in my Middle school in the 80's, we would have several a year. They never amounted to anything, they fire department came and in about an hour things went back to normal. They always seemed to happend on nice days when sitting around for an hour outside seemed just fine to everyone. No one ever made much of a fuss about them either.

I guess times have changed.

We never had one in high school. I guess those students who called them in had dropped out by that time

I have had 1/2 a dozen bomb threatens when I was working at the courthouse. One of them placed the bomb in a suitcase jsut down the hall from my office. That was fun. Not.

uhh...there was a two week period last year where my old high school had bombthreats everyday. They were districtwide. After those few weeks, they trickled down to about 2 or 3 times a week. At one point our school stopped even telling us about them, and we just kept going on with our days as usual.

My fiance's parents arrived at the voting poles around 6-7am and there was a bomb threat after they had stood in line for 45 minutes. Then they didn't maintain line order, so people who had stood in line for an hour might have had to stand in line again for 1 hour to 1.5 hours. That wasn't fun.

I remember when our school had bomb threats (graduated in 93'). We didn't worry about it, but now it would scare the crap out of me. You just don't know what people will do now.

We never had any bomb threats when I was in High School. We had a riot or two. Ya' know, a few cop cars got flipped over. A few kids drown in the pool one year. But no bombs. Funny.

has a few bomb threats, some people during spring pulled the alarm, kids i knew, another time some one set off double ended smoke bomb, or flare, stuck us outside for a good few hours, but they resumed school rather then send us home a half hour early, tiles where still marred the day i left, (dont ask why i was lookin down at the floor) *wink
