Who's Christian here?

I was reading this thread and noticed a few Christians giving their input and support.

Please, no trolling. If you can't stand "Bible thumpers", just stay out and keep negative comments to yourself. I don't want this thread turning into a flame war and getting locked.
Non-practicing and former Christians feel free to join in.
I guess just give whatever info you want to.

Been attending a Presbyterian church for pretty much as far as I can remember.

how do you define Christian? as with many/most ATOT threads on the subject, certain people will come in and post that certain religions are not Christian because they said so, even though all members of that religion consider themselves Christians.

i am a christian and my family on both sides have been members of our church for several generations. my wife is a member of the same church and we attend regularly. i am a big fat sinner though, but i decided in 1998 to try and do the right thing instead of using my sins as an excuse to do nothing/not try.

And between Christian and non-Christians, I'm sure the latter will dominate.

I don't think Mormons/Jehovah's witnesses would count as Christian?

But Catholics/Protestants subscribe to the same basic core beliefs?

If you can consider yourself Christian, then you are.
I don't think anyone has the right to judge whether you are or aren't.

And we're all sinners, and I'm probably a bigger, fatter sinner than you.
But I guess that's all the more reason we all need Christ.

I first attended church udring high school just to hang out with some friends and play basketball with them at church. but gradually I begin to accept Christ. Now attends a First Baptist church.

I don't think that anyone disputes the fact that Christians != Jews...

Well, I'm a Christian, but I don't believe more than 5% of Christians are actual real Christians. The other 95% see Christianity and Church as a social club they belong to and/or are just afraid of going to hell.

A teacher asked us once if there was no heaven or hell would we still be Christians. I thought about that real hard for the next 10 years.

Heaven and Hell are what make people christian. When you believe that you will be tortured for eternity if you don't comply it is a strong motivator.

Participation is fun, but what is the point simply identification?

I like to banter about regarding the core of the relationship with God that all men are created with, but very few appear to recognize.

So you want to know if there are Christains here, but you are not looking for numbers.

If that is the case, the answer is yes, there are Christains present.
