Who's getting the ice storm tonight?

I hope the ice doesn't hit here in Ohio. Wouldn't mind getting more snow though to replace what this burst of little warmer weather and rain melted off

No storms of any kind yet, although the wintry mix stuff is getting really annoying.
I still haven't figured out the quick and properly to deice my windows. Earlier today my front wipers hit the ice and the blade snapped and broke off. Had to do an emergency car wash/Walmart run to replace them.

it has stayed just a few degrees warmer than expected, 32F right now, so it has actually gotten slightly better around here

but they expect some colder air to push down from the north this afternoon and then we are to get another .25 to .50 inches of ice tonight

We had quite a bit of ice and freezing rain on Sunday - Monday here in upstate NY. I think things are supposed to clear up though with the exception of the regular snowfall.

i couldent get out of my driveway yesterday because of ice, there is a slight incline and my tires were spinning when the car was just idleing in drive lol

had to have a neighboue give me a lil push, he was going to work at the same time so it was all good,

roads were fine because they had been salted and such

today was nothing

I'm about 100 miles east of San Fran, in the Central Valley. Our weather isn't quite as mild as San Fran. Theirs tends to be moderated quite a bit by the ocean temps...rarely gets very hot in the summer, nor very cold in the winter. The valley on the other hand, hits well over 100 during the summer, and last winter we got down into the 20's...for the first time in almost 20 years.

I lived in ice & snow country most of my life. We've only lived in Kahleeforneeya for 20 years. I still remember heavy snow storms and ice storms...I don't miss that a bit...but on the other hand, it never quite seems like Christmas without snow...

I live in Kansas City, and it's not been *too* bad, although falling down my steps was fun last night trying to walk my dog...

At least we're not like losing power or anything (5-6 years ago we did, it was not cool)
