Whos got a rare CPU?

I have a Pentium I in my Windows 95. The computer doesn't work anymore though.
The computer has 16mb of ECC RAM

I also have a K6-III (non-plus-type)...which I think are rarer than the + type which were later released for laptops. The thing was still being used until about 18 months ago...overclocked from 450 to 550!

I would put them in the same league as 423 willamette P4's, its running at 2.8, consumes 50% more power, probably wont run with crap, pretty useless overall. But theres only 10! :shocked:

I could get my hands on some alphastations (free) if I wanted to. I had a quad-proc (2nd or 3rd gen... I forgot) w/2gb of RAM that I gave away.

AMD Athlon XP 2600+ @ 2.133Ghz 266FSB 256K w/ 16x multiplier

AMD didn't make many of these after they started using a 333FSB for 2500+ and above. Almost as rare as a T-Bred B 2800+ @ 2.25Ghz 256K. The Barton 2800+ @ 2.08Ghz replaced this CPU about a month after it was introduced. The Athlon XP 2900+ 512K Barton @ 2.00Ghz 400FSB has to be the rarest XP CPU. I think these were only found in OEM.

Anyone still have a 3400+ 939?

I have one of those critters..only it's a 266fsb model...very very rare, although on most mobo's I can change it to the 333fsb model pretty easily, but it's default setting are 2250mhz 17x133 1.65v

I've got an Athlon 64 3300+ Socket 754 coming in the mail... and I have an old 75MHz AMD chip, is that pretty rare? I never heard of them before the K6 days...

Where are you guys getting these engineering samples?

I have a few old CPUs that are in boxes that are still working, at least the last time I checked. I have a K6-2 380 (w/the 95mhz bus), a K5 166 (?) and an old 286. Other than the K6-2 system, I haven't booted the other two boxes in a few years.

PPro 400? You got me there! I thought they only went up to 200MHz. I suppose the P2 is essentially a PPro core, so a P2-400 would be sort of a PPro 400

Ok so none of those are really that rare, but thats all I got!!

However, I did manage to get probably the worst Opteron stepping for OCing. Considering everyone seems to get a good stepping, that seems pretty rare

Got a Cyrix 6x86MX-PR200 here.

Runs on a 66mhz bus and 2.5x multiplyer. It also uses a toasty 2.9v and has in bold letters across the die FAN/HEATSINK REQUIRED.

Also there is an excellent condition TRS-80 sitting in front of me, though its not mine.

Also found a K6-2 350. Has a made for windows 95 stamp on it, which i always found amusing.

Check ebay, theres some on there. A lot of these CPU's can be found there, but many are quite expensive, considering the age/performance of them. The K6 2+ and K63 + 550 mhz chips are always usually expensive.
