Man, Buddy Guy kicks ass. I got him and Jr. Wells "Alone & Acoustic." There is more soul in one of their songs than the last 20 years of popular music combined. Looks like I added a new form of music to my repertoire.
Uh, all rock music has blues/r&b influence in it. That's how it came about. Zeppelin is not blues.
White Stripes are pretty darn good and haven't been mentioned.

Man... White stripes suck hard... I could go on for the longest time about that one, but I will leave it at that.
I went for a job once and the last question the two guys interviewing me asked was, "who is Muddy Waters?" I said, "a rock group?," and they got all upset I got the job anyway and the guys were the two biggest blues freak white guys I ever met. One played the "harp" and the other guitar. They would go to "Blues School" down South once a year. Too bad I didn't really appreciate the music as much then.Originally posted by: polm
