Who's gotta work friday......

i put in for the day off back in august.....and even then got lip from the "higher ups"

I've missed my family's traditional brunch the day after Thanksgiving for the last 3 years and finally had enough of missing it.....after my Great Aunt past away two weeks ago I realize I have a limited amount of time with certain family members.....and I'd like to be there for as many events as i can.

The business we're in theres no reason for a ANYONE to be here that day.......but since the ceo doesnt appreciate the people here, everyone will show up miserable and just hate this company that much more.

We're a consulting company.....how can we consult our clients when they're not even open?

i ahve to work also, but get monday off. why they don't just let everyone off friday is beyond me. i doubt much of anything will get done at all.

I don't have to, but I will because I don't want to burn PTO on it. I'll be about the only one here so it will be a lazy day. My wife works so I don't have anything better to do.

yea well about an hour ago i found out we're staying till 530, not leaving early like last year at 330.

my ceo's reasons "where does everyone have to rush to?"

scumbag.

well im gonna make another 100 posts on AT before 530.

and last year on black friday i spent the 6 hours i was here learning about the civil war on wikipedia. lol

But Thanksgiving in Canada was 6 weeks ago. Does anyone know why it is different?

I'm taking LWOP on Friday. I usually only work 3.5 hrs on Thursday, but I'm getting paid for 8 hrs for the holiday, so it kinda evens out.

I 've gotta work, I could have worked in Columbus day instead but nobody told me about it. As everybody else, I doubt I 'll get much done, probably some things here and there and working in school stuff most of the time.

I'm working two shifts today, so I'll get off work at 6am tomorrow. And then I don't work again til Sunday. My wife works at Pletzgraff, and she is going to be working on Black Friday, poor girl. I'll be dropping her off and picking her up from work, and rubbing her feet when she gets home...

The only day I have off is Thursday. Working tonight until 9PM, off tomorrow and back here bright eyed and bushy tailed at 8AM on Friday.
