ghetto pic

I was coming home like any other day today and as i turned on my left hand turn signal to come into my subdivision, i saw my neighbor yakking away with a friend of hers. She was driving her expedition and i was in my jaguar. I have no horn in my jaguar despite minor electrical problems i'm currently fixing Anyways, as you can see from the pic, she was sitting angled in the immediate entrance of the subdivision as i was trying to come in. She saw me behind her trying to get through, but made no attempt to cut the conversation short. She kept yakking away. My jag is slightly wider than my ford explorer (IMO), but i'm comofortable enough to know the width of the car, so i started creeping beside her. All of a sudden after she sees me starting to pass her slowly, she tries to correct her position and starts cutting into me. I smash on my brakes and start to ride up the curb of the landscaping and she gives me this dirty ass look as if i was completely at fauilt. She lives about thirty feet from my house, exactly across on the other side of the street from me. The entire rest of the way home (about 20 seconds or the length of four houses) she was giving me nasty looks through that i could see in my rear view mirror. After i finally pulled up my driveway, she kinda stopped right in front of my house and stared at me and my car...but i stayed in my car to avoid any confrontation. Who's in the wrong here????

You should just be extra nice to her, and make her cookies or something. Walk the cookies over to her house, and say I'm so sorry about the 'other day.' Say, "I was so inconsiderate, I mean, who am I to break up your conversation. Again, I'm really sorry."

I just don't understand what happened. You have the "after" picture, right? I'm just not envisioning this.

i tried getting into the sub...she forced me to drive up the landscape on my left side nearly clipping my car, meanwhile giving me a dirty look as if i was at 100% fault.

She was wrong, as she was impeding traffic flow. (illegal)

Reminds me of a similar situation I had about 3 months ago. A group of our neighbors was sick of students using our street as a shortcut to the local college. Even though there isn't that much traffic, they decided to block the street with their minivans
so students couldn't use the road.

To make a long story short, I was with my friend in his 4x4 and we decided since they were illegally blocking the street, we'd use the guys lawn as a shortcut. So my buddy drops er in 4 low and does a 4 wheel burnout on the guys lawn as we go around the parked minivans.

They never tried to block the street again.

I would've gotten out and explained that your horn was broken and was just trying to go around her. If she was still giving you the dirty look I'd tell her that she shouldn't be stopping in the middle of the entrance to chat and then walk off.

Nope...19...but still have a jaguar XJ6. It's my second car when i don't feel like driving my explorer. Planning on dropping in a 350 Chevy engine into it this winter. BUT...it's just a car...nothing special...as long as it gets me from point A to point B, nothing else really matters, right?

My friend's only 18 and is driving around in a Jag... Granted his isn't in the best of condition. It's aesthitically pleasing, but sometimes it doesn't start, and it idles rough...

What a bi+<h! If you are a road rage kind of person, this is where you fantasize about pulling out a .44 from your glove compartment and shoot her middle finger off.

Assuming you have given us all of the information she was wrong, she cannot block an intersection, it is illegal. I don't care how good the conversation was, or if she isn't a US citizen, in this country she has to follow the laws. I would have shouted at her to move her fat ass, but I'm in a bad mood today, so that probably isn't the best thing to do

Oh yeah I forgot what I do in this situation, I keep a metal pipe under my seat (about 2.5 feet long) that I shake out the window, simple yet effective. I think it can be considered a weapon though, so I don't do it if a cop is around.

Not to slam you beyond all reach of personal redemption (hey, I may want a ride in your Jag someday -- I make GREAT horn sounds), buy are you personally picking up the slack for Jerboy here?

Yup...i'll never buy another English car again. Lucas Electrics=suck BIG TIME!! I've re-wired some of the electical harnesses in the car, ran new thicker gauge wires for the stereo throughout the entire car, installed my own Viper alarm, and installed new and practical fuse boxes (opposed to in line fuses throughout the entire car in random spots).

I'm sorry but you are wrong...anyone who drives a pre-Ford Jaguar shows a complete lack of judgement and thus is autamaticazlly wrong by default.

Hey, I did said "IF" and "Fantasize"

It's not good to bottle your anger inside until it explodes unexpectantly on your love ones.
