Who's NOT playing HL2 today?

My credit card doesn't work, tried to buy the game several times on Steam

Not coming out locally for another few days! :disgust: Update - I bought it! It's come out here faster than I expected - paid US$38 for it... but I can still participate in the thread as I haven't even opened the box yet

Computer parts come in today so I can finally fix my computer. Running a P2 233 with 128MB PC100@66 and a 6GB HDD. I'm thinking with his Matrox G100 4MB I could get... -3FPS. Either that or HL2 would come up with an error: Your computer sucks ass please go shoot yourself.

LOL. I've had that thought more than a few times back in Uni. Not just talking about games here, mind you... caved in at the end, more frequently than not.

What kind of system you have?

From what I've heard, it scales down extremely well to "non-cutting-edge" and even "older" systems.

Me either....just got back from vacation and I'm just glad to have a system to use again. I'll probably buy it after christmas when the price drops to the $30-$35 level.

Buying hyped games right when they come out is a waste of money IMO. Case in point...Doom 3.
