Who's NOT playing HL2 today?

But this isn't D3. It's HL2 -- it will (and I suppose it already has) lived up to the hype.

True, but it's still a game. My life will continue without it. I'll probably upgrade my system over the holidays, and then pick it up post holiday when it's cheap.

What kind of system you have?

From what I've heard, it scales down extremely well to "non-cutting-edge" and even "older" systems.

Just like how Doom 3 scales down to a Voodoo2 SLI?

Kinda wish I could upgrade my system as well, but even HL2 probably won't justify the cost. A XP2500+/9800Pro should run it quite reasonably. (hoping for the same with CS:S)

Thank God I never got into it.

I played Guild Wars 2 weekends ago and all my plans for that weekend immediately went on hold/ got cancelled.

I am afraid to try WoW for the exact same reason. Gonna take off from work just to play when it comes out and then not have vacation left @ christmas!
