Wow. That was amazing. I've never been more immersed in a video game world. Stupid midterms :|

Unfricking believable. Actually, its very believable, that's why its so great so far. Played about an hour through most of the canal stuff.

There is one part where you turn the corner and watch a barnacle eat a crow. It looked great! But the true genius was when I quick-loaded and replayed the scene, killing the barnacle before it ate the crow. That was a wow moment for me!

So far so good. Played for about an hour and a half and i'm loving every minute of it. It's actually pretty tough at times.

My only gripe so far is the load between different points like HL1 was notorious for doing. Still a great game so far. Now I have to make a decsion, HL2 or my girlfriend..girlfriend wins..what can I say..i'm wupped

Played about an hour or so, thoughts so far...

Before I started playing I went to change video options. Changed res to 1280x960 and applied. At this point the game kinda freaked out. A repeating audio hiccup started playing and the screen didn't redraw completely. I thought I was screwed until I clicked my mouse button and it returned to the options screen and all seemed well. Very strange but it ran fine after that.

Mouse movement is not smooth...played with options but nothing really helps. It is not so bad that it interferes with the game but just enough to be annoying.

Lots of level loads. The loads themselves aren't too bad in length but there does seem to be a lot of them.

Although still early the game seems very fun. Great graphics and very immersive. From what I have seen so far the story seems pretty good.

try typing CL_Smooth 0 in console to see if it makes stutter disappear.. worked on CS S

my fav so far is when the cop/guard or whatever tells you to pick up the can.. I couldnt resist hittin him in the head and running... I was rolling

I love the way the enemies just drop after taking a headshot, or when you catch a barrel before they can kick it and they go flying. Awesome so far, at the river stage here.

Only had time for the first 5 minutes of the game. I can see there's lots to explore/pick up/talk to.

But alas I do have to do to work!

So far I played it an hour and a half and its great. It keeps freezing everyonce in awhile though as if its loading something... I think I might turn the settings down next time I play it mainly AA off rather than 2X. with 1600x1200 I probably don't need it any ways hehe.

I think i hit a bug, was walking through the pipes when you come upon 2 of the ceiling suckers and one grabbed me, killed it
but was suspended in air and couldn't move, had to resume at last save point.
