Watched some youtube videos of the game. Looks pretty boring to me. I guess its more of an acquired taste. Most flash games hold no appeal to me anyway. I guess I'm too used to 3D graphic games.
uhhhh. what?
I don't understand that either. Minecraft is 3D and it is not flash.
Alright, so today I finally got around to purchasing Minecraft. I'm still figuring things out.
What I know so far is that I can dig up blocks of dirt, and lay them in other places. I realized that there are monsters that come out at night, so I started a new game and barricaded myself in a cave so the monsters wouldn't get me. I stood there and waited, while I heard creepy noises outside, and I popped a small hole in the wall so I could check to see if it was morning yet. I assumed the monsters would go away when the sun went up, but it didn't happen, they kept digging at my cave so I just jumped out and tried to kill them. I was unsuccessful.
I also spent some time beating up animals. I see that the pigs give you health, the chickens give you a feather (?) and the sheep give you this weird block of wool.
Yeah, I'm kind of lost.
What is amazing is that this game is made by a single person and has sold more than 100.000 copies.
