Who's ready for hunting season?

I can't wait for hunting season to start up here in Illinois. I went duck hunting in the early season that was open a few weeks ago and now I can't wait

Any other hunters out there going crazy waiting?

I sighted my rifle in today. And then shot a hundred extra round of .30-06. That was an expensive trip to the range

I can't wait to take my Beneli deer hunting. I got it last year after deer season was over. It was my christmas gift to myself Took it rabbit hunting and duck hunting though. Very nice gun.

Would it be a waste to buy a Mini-14 to go groundhog sniping? I don't really have anything against groundhogs, it's just a hypothetical.

What's a mini-14? My dad used my .22 rifle to kill the groundhogs that were digging under our shed.

What's a mini-14? My dad used my .22 rifle to kill the groundhogs that were digging under our shed.

It's a Ruger semi-auto assault rifle, chambered in .223. Many of the design aspects are borrowed from the M-1 Carbine.
