I've been meaning to. It looks like a feel-good film. Anything where Hitler dies is a pretty good movie. But most likely the internet has completely ruined the movie for me at this point. When Hitler realizes he's lost the war, I'll keep thinking that he's ranting about Xbox Live or the PlayStation Network outage or the iPad or what have you. Thanks a lot internet!

This. Probably the most important part of this movie is, it teaches you a lot about how Hitler got so much power. He was enthralling and terrifying. He had such an insane passion that it was hard for a lot of people to believe that he could be wrong.

See, if he believes what he's saying SO completely...if he throws himself into his plans like a berserker...then it becomes much more of an indictment to disbelieve him or disagree with him. If he's wrong, he's VERY wrong, and it's very difficult to take that stand against someone who is enormously popular and apparently is so zealous for his (and your...and your neighbor's...and your local police captain's) country.
