Thinking about taking the wifey for her birthday. Comments? Is it worth the astronomical price tag?

Just saw it last week with the wife and daughter. I went along, reluctantly. But now I am more jacked about it than they are! Fantastic performances all around! Two thumbs and one other appendage up! I say go for it.

dude..that gave me a super wrong mental image damn it.
I just imagined you verbally saying that review, lying naked in bed; then at the last sentence, all of said appendages just pop up along w/ the two thumbs... You top if off my maniacally smiling at the camera and give either a wink or your teeth goes "bling!"

great...

anyways, I haven't seen the play, and I really don't want to see it either. My brother said that it's actually pretty good, but he wanted to see it from the beginning. As for me, I'd only go if i can get some arse afterwards.

I purchased a pair of tickets for my wife for Christmas. We are going to see it at the Pantages Theater in Los Angeles this Friday! The wife is super excited. Everyone that I've talked to has loved it. more than a couple people have seen it more than once.

Oh damn. I was actually thinking about seeing it on Sat or Sunday at the Pantages.

Now maybe I'll just get her the tickets and see it in some other month

I was dragged to it.

It wasn't bad, I kind of got into it.
Enough that I bought the book (didn't read it though)

How important it seat location?

as close as possible, or is it actually better to sit back a little?

Where are you going to see it at?

I went to The Ford Theater at Chicago and there wasn't a bad seat at the house.

Yes, go see it. Buy the tickets and don't look back. You won't regret it. It was very interesting.

yes. i prefer to be closer when i see shows there. i was in like row MM which is in the orchestra (which is what they call the entire lower level) but it was like 15 rows from the back and you can't see much detail. this was for les mis, so i really wanted to be closer so i could see the expression on their faces.

Holy **** I've wanted to see that for years now. I wish it would come around here sometime (like anything comes to North Dakota).

Excellent, you've been most helpful.

Thanks economic stimulus.

I've seen the show twice (different groups of friends wanted to go see it). I love the show and I haven't met anyone in person that hasn't liked it.

The first time, I saw it in Row B of the Mezzanine level. The view was awesome! You can see absolutely everything, without being too far away. I highly suggest these seats over the Orchestra seating (row T - which is where I saw it the second time).

I saw it. It was worth it.

Obscure movie reference:

"She said she liked it better than Pirates of Penzance."
