$1600 overwithheld- I itemized this year and changed my W4 in September to compensate, but it was still too late to not give out a small interest-free loan
$7500 interest-free loan from the gub'ment for buying a house in September

I'm still trying to decide if I should take the First Time Homebuyer Credit. Without it I'm looking at a $1600+ refund. I know it's interest free and inflation will make it advantageous, but I hate oweing money. I'd use it to pay off most of my car.

Eh, I think I'll do it.

That will be me...I should get just under 10 grand back for the same reasons...

I entered all my stuff into the program, but not sure if I'm going to get anything from my 401k.... My refund amount this year seems awfully high, especially since I didn't even have any higher learning credits like I did last year...

Edit: Figured out the "huge" refund, for some reason the program defaulted to Married instead of Single, maybe I should get married for the tax break...lol.

I was getting taxed at 70k-80k range, ended up I made around 35k last year.

My wife just has to enter a few more things regarding her business (profit/loss) stuff. We'll be done today. Had a kid this year so we're getting a mega return. Gotta go adjust my withholdings at work...

I jumped the gun and finished them and then e-filed. I then received a damn 1099 in the mail about two hours later. Will file a 1040X in a few weeks, damnit!
