I can't think of one female singer that I have on any of my albums. I just don't like hearing them sing. Maybe I'm weird.

I don't seem to like female singers either.... I'll watch a lot of Shania, Jessica Simpson, etc, etc videos... but I just don't tend to like any female artist enough to really consider buying their cds. Of course I like alt rock/modern rock mostly.... so the choices are fairly few

Maria Callas, Thibault, Marion Anderson, Misia, there's a lot, but what I enjoy is a voice that isn't technofied. I guess I am really tired of hearing all tech and no voice. I have worked sound and it sure sucks when someone can't sing and I have to make them sound good. YUCK!!!!!!!!!!!

Have you met her? No class at all IMO. Hot as hell though. Faith Hill, on the other hand, is a fantastic person.

Because nobody has mentioned her, one of my favorites is Alison Krauss, and I'm not at all a bluegrass or country fan (though that's all I've mentioned in this post). Something about her voice just puts me in a good mood.
