I've been noticing the fan on my 3 year old Lenovo laptop being on constantly. I haven't reformatted for a while, but also don't have too much stuff installed on this computer.
Looking at task manager, it seems the reason for the fan on is presumably to cool the CPU, which is always near 100% usage, apparently just from a few tabs worth of my chrome browser. The 4 chrome.exe's are using approximately 80-85% of my CPU usage:

Anyone know typical reasons why this is? And why is the CPU frequency bar (blue line) fluctuating like a sine wave?
