its the ROPs when it comes to the 290/290x. those cards have hardly anymore bandwidth than the 780 and even less than the 780ti. and if vram is an issue then a game stutters and usually takes a nose dive. you dont just drop a few fps off the average.VRAM and bandwidth will be big performance limiters at high resolution, much more so than at 1080p.
also with AA, 680.690 gets destroyed. how interesting
Eh?, the according to Tech Power up, out of the 7 or so surround setups, the Ti beats the 290 in all but 1, 7xxx series eyefinity is busted, so where is it that you get this idea?
That 2 frames (which is actually 3) is 14%.
TPU is a very poor source for multi monitor results. Most of the games where the 5760 res is left off in the comparisons are games that it's broken on nVidia setups. His solution is to drop it from the tests and 5760 from the overall results. Funny he doesn't do the same with Crossfire benches. :sneaky:
I didnt see any games of XF or SLI only at that res?..which is funny given your last remark.
....as for 280x, there is 2 frames over 770...destroyed?
Hey man, that little bar is longer. Of course it is going to get more attention from the ladies!
/that's what she said anyway
//it's a joke people....
