Why AnandTech never review Sony mobiles?

I am curious why Sony mobiles are never reviewed? Is there some specific reason? Sony xperia Z was top phone, now Z1 i am curious for there results.

Interesting, I never thought of them. I honestly don't know anyone with a sony phone so maybe its a real niche market not work Anand's time?

Up to last year you most probably would be wright. But this year Sony made very good models and i am moving now from Z to Z1. Have tested Z Ultra and beside Huge size it was impressive. On top of this those are the only Top class phones which are Water and dust proof - ip58. And i have many friends buying or considering moving to Sony

I suspect that as Sony improves the devices it releases and they start to become regarded as a more competitive player that a flagship device might (eventually) get reviewed.

Because you can't review what you don't have. If they don't get a sample device, chances are they aren't going out to buy one just to do so.

Maybe it is because there are no users who are interested in them? I know that Sony produced some new models, but honestly speaking I have no friends who possess and use Sony phone. I do not want to say they are bad, but they are just not as required as other producers.

well, sony doesn't target the US market well (look at the delayed Sony Xperia Z launch in US)

Pretty much this. The USA has been an afterthought for Sony.

Might be. But Anandtech is popular outside US I am from EU.
