I knew smoking was bad, and that people were getting fatter, but this blew my mind. Check this out.

In the U.S., we eat more than 1,000,000 animals an hour

In 1972, we spent 3 billion a year on fast food - today we spend more than 110 billion

Left unabated, obesity will surpass smoking as the leading cause of preventable death in America

This person knows what she is talking about. I mean food in China, Japan, Mexico and Australia is so disgusting, people only eat the amount they can eat, and try to eat it as little as possible. And I heard that everyone outside of the US is dying because they don't have any food.

Your medical system isn't shabby either! Probably one of the best in the world but I have no clue, or way to verify.

Your portions are HUGE for a start. I noticed that when I went to the states.

People eat a lot and don't exercise or work and have more important things to do then exercise for them.

Sitting at a comp 9hrs a day isn't tough work physically compared to someone else labouring.

Because over-indulgence is the American way.

You can never eat too much, earn enough, have too small of a house or a fast enough car.

That and the mentality that you can never lose weight fast enough and you have to do it with the least amount of personal sacrifice.

The world's largest service-based economy, lessening jobs that require labour.

Per capita - taking a guess - the amount of people who die of starvation in most of the world's countries is probably higher than the amount of people who die in the US from illnesses related to unhealthy eating.
