Why are cheerleaders often portrayed as "easy"?

It seems like any female who chooses to be a cheerleader is automatically assumed to be "easy". What's the reason behind this?

Well, the whole school watches them bouncing and jumping around, generally in outfits that'd get them arrested anywhere away from the game. That can't do much for the prim and proer image
