Why are Elsa Cards so expensive?

They still use the same chipset as all the other cars (NVIDIA....TnT2 Geforce256 Geforce2)
But cost 35-45 % more!!

It is a little known fact, but ELSA cards are handmade in switzerland, perhaps that is why they cost so much.

Could be that Elsa cards have a 6 year warranty - 'course, not like anybody wants to keep a video card that long

They seem to be priced around the compitition. I don't know what stores you're lookin at.

I think he is referring to their higher end 3D workstation cards like the Gloria II and such. These cards are higher priced because they have more features that are used in professional 3D modeling applications. There are no benefits to using these cards for games.
