Yeah, what a great fscking city:roll:. the streets have this white, smelly gas emanating from every creak and crevice, the roads are a fscking nightmare if you drive, there are people litteraly on top of eachother so you can barely walk the streets without bumping into someone, your cab drivers are insane, the subways suck, there is no parking, so many g'dam hobo's on street corners begging, streets are full of so many mentally insane people who were just released from the insane asylum. yup, what a great fscking city.

I could go on and on, but we are classy over here in Joisee.

Somebody is afraid of the big bad City. Sounds like you have not set foot in the NYC in years. They say the first step in conquering your fear is to confront it. You now know what you must do.

And why don't you MA people stay out of NH. What a bunch of elitist snobs you are down there. I used to think NY drivers were horrible until I saw Mass. drivers. Good god, when a lane is about to end, you're supposed to signal and then merge safely into the other lane long before the lane ends. You're not supposed to slowly drift over as the lane is ending and expect everyone to get out of your way.

i think that smelly white gas you're talking about is steam...

at least we HAVE a subway in nyc...how do you get around in nj? drive?

the roads are not a nightmare if you know how to get around in the city, and why would you drive in the city? the mass transit system is the best.

Eh that's the states fault with the half ass highway system here of merge with the 20 foot on ramps they give us. You want bad drivers, try GA, holy crap talk about bad drivers....

As for the armpit of the US, go to Gary, IN, thats the true armpit of the US.

There is a mass transit system, but of the 4 I've used (Philadelphia, London, Minneapolis, Baltimore) it is by far the dirtiest and least user-friendly transit system of the lot.

whatever, the dude is complaining about how it sucks...i think its great...2 bucks and you can get anywhere you want in the five boroughs...

and i for one think its pretty user fricken friendly...whats so hard about the transit system...as for it being dirty...its a 100 year old system, and nyc'ers just don't care about keeping it clean...oh well...

I like the dirt. It gives it character.
If you want squeaky clean, go move to a suburb in California or the Midwest or some other boring place.

NJ stinks in some parts, i.e. Elizabeth due to all of the refineries. However, NYC just reeks of sh!t in it's entirety.

Have you been down in the subway on a hot day? have you walked past that white smoke wafting out of the sewer grates?

You have to use some other mass transit systems to understand the difference.

But you still can't take the subway across the entire state no matter how good your transist system is.

I was just in tokyo and hong kong last week, and it cost me an arm and a leg to get around on their systems...and the thing i hate about the tokyo system is that there are so many different lines used to get around, sometimes you have to pay twice to get somewhere its ridiculous. clean though.

well with hong kong...its a nice setup they have there...clean, maps are fairly easy to read and easy to get around. but it doesn't cover nearly as many stations as nyc transit.

and boston, i was there a while back, and now that system has got some serious issues...

I was just talking the other day about how we need to secede from you worthless blood suckers. GregGreen is right: the City gives more to than the State than it gets back.

And upstate gives more to the state than it gives back... It's odd that no one knows where the money goes. Albany is like a bottomless pit.
