If thats how you talk about people you CAN stand.. I'd hate to see how you talk about people you CAN'T
What's the difference? Can and cant sound the same anyway.
oh dear lord, please tell me you are being sarcastic? You CAN NOT be serious?
Now "cannot" sounds like a different word. But "can" and "cant" sound like the same word. Everytime I have to guess which word by the context. It's stupid.

You're absolutely right, they sound very much the same...that guy bothering you about this whole can and can't thing doesn't get the point!
...THAT, ladies and gentlegeeks, is why I don't live in America.

How can you lose a battle unless you are fighting totally stupid people?
How in the world can "can" sound like "can't"?
And if they sound similar (slightly), they have 2 totally opposite meanings, and people should distinguish between them.
IMO, you can't say can sounds like can't.

The fact that some apparently non-technical people think Dell is better than home-brewed is a reason not to live in America? Or the fact that some people still believe that WMD have been/will be found in Iraq?
Either way, I think I speak for most Americans in saying that we're glad you don't live here, either...

Last night i had some people at my house. I was showing off my System (P4 3.2GHz@3.6GHz and all the good stuff). The system was in an acrylic case, that is why everyone was so interested into it. Anyway someone stupid enough came up and said something like DELL PC's are the best, and that unless someone buys a Dell, he is buying a piece of Sheet. Well this is not the first time i have heard such things. My system blows away the dell XPS;supposed to be Dell top of the line. My own G/F bought a Dell Dimension 2400 for $499, well guess what: It came with a CD-ROM , 40GB HDD and no Floppy. I was so happy that when she asked me to upgraded i asked her to call dell. A complete system from those guys cost around $1,000 for a decent configuration.

Now about the computers, some people will argue that Dell is better than Compaq or that HP is better than gateway and so on. They are all piece of crap as they use the cheapest part you can find.
My neighbor bought a Dell for $529 check the specs below:
P2 350Mhz
6.1GB HD
4X CD-RW
64MB Ram
Windows 98
14-15 low quality unbranded monitor
$1 Keyboard(pricewatch) and .50c Mouse
Floppy and Zip Drive
How do i know? he called me and told the that he got a great setup. He bought it from Cybertek computer, a rip-off computer place.

The other thing i can stand are people with no brain, I am in a small town full of Bush lovers. 89% of them believe that there is WMD in Iraq , that we just need time to find them. More than 1/2 of the american people believe that there was a link between 9/11 and Iraq.
I really have to stop here before i loose control.

I'm saying this guy will never be convinced. They could go back and forth for days and this guy will never be convinced. That makes it a losing battle.

You're right. "can" and "cant" still sound the same to me. And yes, I know they have completely opposite meanings, Lonyo (mr. smart arse?)
