Musk wanted to make Twitter a financial platform. What’s to stop him from privatizing the government payment function and moving it to an X platform where he can get a fee for every transaction? I’m sure he can “prove” that would be cheaper and more efficient.
If he gets access to this, he can put pressure on other federal employees to grant him illegal access to other resources he doesn’t have lawful rights to. Such as, a SCIF that contains information useful to the foreign political patrons we all know he serves (Russia and China foremost).

In other words...we're setting up a Sovereign Wealth Fund and purchasing Chinese assets? Musk, who could be compromised, now controls the system we would use to authorize payments from this "sovereign wealth fund"?? Oh, and this "wealth fund" was created on the same day that USAID shut down??
