At 6'6" and 490, I could stand to lose a few. Probably.
I chose the don't exercise option. I currently eat less than I used to. I've noticed in the last few weeks, my dishwasher is mostly full of small plates instead of large plates. Always a good sign.
I drink either iced tea and diet soda. Lots of fish and chicken, some beef and pork rarely. I eat one english muffin for breakfast and that is the main source of my carbs. Low carb worked really well last time. For over a year, I drove truck long haul and that wasn't good for my figure. I gained about 4 pounds a month. I have yet to find my motivation and it scares me because I found it at 450 the last time I made a serious effort to lose weight.
I spent an hour at Home Depot yesterday walking around. Then another 30 minutes shopping for groceries today. At my size, I should really stick to sitting down type exercises to lessen the impact to my back and especially my knees. As long as I can get my heart rate up for 20 minutes, it's a good start.
I have a very normal shaped body for a 490 pounder, so the "pear shaped" motivation is not there. TMI coming up! I can see my junk without a mirror. I just measured the thin part of my leg, down at the ankle. There's no fat there, yet it's 12" around. Hell, my wrists are 9" around. Again, no fat there. I wear a size 18 shoe, so my feet are even bigger than normal. :shrugs: I'm not looking for sympathy, just be nicer to a fat person the next time you see one. No snickering in their presence. Wait till they're out of range at least. You skinny little sh!ts can be very mean.
