is that allowed?

Didn't even notice that. Tsk tsk tsk OP.

lol it's not a REFERER link, it's the freakin' product-id link! so you can buy/read/un-obese yourself!

** edit: hmm, there _was_ a referer, but from another product page on their own site. fixed, thx.

At 6'6" and 490, I could stand to lose a few. Probably.

I chose the don't exercise option. I currently eat less than I used to. I've noticed in the last few weeks, my dishwasher is mostly full of small plates instead of large plates. Always a good sign.

I drink either iced tea and diet soda. Lots of fish and chicken, some beef and pork rarely. I eat one english muffin for breakfast and that is the main source of my carbs. Low carb worked really well last time. For over a year, I drove truck long haul and that wasn't good for my figure. I gained about 4 pounds a month. I have yet to find my motivation and it scares me because I found it at 450 the last time I made a serious effort to lose weight.

I spent an hour at Home Depot yesterday walking around. Then another 30 minutes shopping for groceries today. At my size, I should really stick to sitting down type exercises to lessen the impact to my back and especially my knees. As long as I can get my heart rate up for 20 minutes, it's a good start.

I have a very normal shaped body for a 490 pounder, so the "pear shaped" motivation is not there. TMI coming up! I can see my junk without a mirror. I just measured the thin part of my leg, down at the ankle. There's no fat there, yet it's 12" around. Hell, my wrists are 9" around. Again, no fat there. I wear a size 18 shoe, so my feet are even bigger than normal. :shrugs: I'm not looking for sympathy, just be nicer to a fat person the next time you see one. No snickering in their presence. Wait till they're out of range at least. You skinny little sh!ts can be very mean.

I don't have time to exercise... I wouldn't really call it a result of being lazy, though. it's just about priorities.

seems like between working, cooking, and cleaning, I'm pressed for hours in a day as it is... when I have free time, I just need to relax and hang out with friends or play a game, not stress out at the gym.

to balance it out, though, I do try and eat healthy most of the time.

Man, I started seriously cutting about a 2 weeks ago to prep myself for some major muscle bulking, and it's not going fast I'm hoping to lose about 10-15 lbs of fat, which is pretty much the max I have to lose, but it's damn tough to eat clean on a college campus, and although I actually like eating veggies, all this damn rabbit food (lettuce, celery, carrots, etc) is making me crave for steak by the weekend. Good luck to everyone else!

I exercise a LOT, but I'm not fat. In fact, I lost 15lb's since the beginning of this semester. I'm back at 162 lbs now (I'm also 5'11). My pic is in my sig. I'm quite toned and fit now. I used to say I dont have time to exercise, but after forcing myself to work out, lift weights, and running, I've noticed that I feel a lot better about myself, so I always make time to exercise now. Whenever I'm depressed or in crappy mood, I go run or lift weights. Another plus is that I've been able to meet a LOT more girls now, which is always good. I eat quite healthy, making sure I dont eat terrible foods or pig out. The only fast food I eat now is In n out. Otherwise, I make my own food. It takes time to change your lifestyle, but once you get things rolling, you will really feel better about yourself.

Heh.. I work in a damned cubicle all day, and have been too lazy to exercise, so I've been putting on weight. Not fat, but not in shape either. So... I recently joined a gym and started with a personal trainer. We'll see how that goes

Human beings have chased after their food for millions of years but with the advent of civilization, the grocery store, and the car we no longer are forced to run.

I used to be 110lbs, 4% bf

I keep the obesity statistic down

You need to gain a little weight. I could snap you in half like a toothpick. If I'm not mistaken, your BMI at that level is below 18.5, making you dangerously underweight.

I'm 5'9", bout 170lbs. I run usually 7 days a week for 5 to 8 miles, but my diet isn't exactly great, though its getting better and the pounds are slowly coming off.

I'm not fat, actually I'm in good shape. When I used to be fat it was because I was really lazy and would eat a lot.

I hate exercise and I usually only eat one meal per day.

My metabolism is pure crap.

The only exercise I get now a days is from s*x so if I'm not in shape, it's because I don't exercise enough and it's my wife's fault .
