SMP:
Well, see, my situation is perhaps a little different. Before you start to get the wrong idea, let me tell a little background. This girl comes from a family with a LOT more money then mine. I know it shouldn't bother me, but it does. I was raised old fashioned by my parents and that model doesn't really fit today.
Anyways, this girl is the active social type. She's a big theater buff, loves to go out and wine and dine, and all of that. Now, keep in mind that this isn't just and extra type of activity, this is what makes her HAPPY. I wanted to point out that she's from a better off family then mine just to prove she isn't a golddigger, and instead always offers to pay for my expenses as well (Which I always refuse of course). Now, I have no time to do any of the things she enjoys doing with her. At this point in my life I feel like I know her better then she knows herself, and I know that she would be happier with a guy that can do those sorts of things with her on a regular basis, instead of a guy like me who always has to cancel plans with her because I got called to a meeting, have a program due, big university HW assignment, that sorta thing.
Do I love her? Yes, which is why I am willing to give her up for her happiness. As I had said, there were other factors, but this was my main one.
