It's quite taboo right now to question Bush and company.

If you speak your mind or even point to obvious facts that paints a bad picture for Bush......you will be shunned by those that hate what America in part stands for.......freedom.

How long before everyone quits trying to change the past? Clinton did this, Bush did that, we can not change yesterday. Our future is what is important. Learn from the past, make the future better. It seams that Americans enjoy criticizing our government and it's leaders because we can. The rest of the world sees that as dissatisfaction with how we are governing ourselves. If you really find our government unbearable, there are no restrictions imposed by the US to keep you from leaving.

I would like to say that I find problems with our system, but I can work to bring change. Selecting the best people for political office by doing research on them before voting them in office and firing them if they don't follow through with there promises. I try to be realistic about expectations. They can't give farmers more money for their crops, lower food prices for consumers, and keep food processors and groceries happy without subsidizing someone. They can't do everything for everyone. Democrats, Republicans, and Independents have good people. Sort them out and vote accordingly.

All you liberals must spout lies all the time. Clinton was impeached, but not removed from office. No matter how you try to compare what Bush has done compared to Clinton, you will never get far at all. The facts are there, Clinton avoided Vietnam, had an affair, lied under oath, and sent nuclear secrets to China. Shall I go on?

Jesus Christ, have you not been paying attention to who's in office now? Bush avoided Vietnam, had a DUI, lied to start a war, and God knows what else. I'm sure he'll do enough to trump Clinton before his term is over, if he hasn't already and it hasn't been exposed or people like yourself are just too blind to see it.

Oh lord a DUI,

I hate to say it but jesus christ you guys are pathetic...

If you are too blind to see the threat of iraq and the need for him to be removed then you my friend are blind to the facts...

What facts? We have seen no proof that Saddam has WMD. All I've heard is "The UN inspectors didn't find anything but I know he has them hidden". Do you know how much easier it would have been if Bush would have pointed out "In the city of Saddam Village, there is a chemical factory producing mustard gas, here are satellite images etc.." Speculation and suspicion doesn't equal facts.

boy, that's just about the stupidest thing i've ever heard.

1. It is the responsibility of every american to question our gov., it is THE basis for which this country was founded.

2. Once again, anyone in this country has a right to be against this war, if you don't like that, move to N. Korea or some other dictatorship.

3. I think the real reason people are against this war is not because they believe saddam is ok or a good person or even that he doesnt possess WMD, but rather the manner in which bush has handled this whole mess. If he hadn't insisted on invading iraq and passing congressional resolutions authorizing force before the UN even restarted inspections, thus putting iraq on the defense and pissing off the rest of the world, he could've put this off for 6 mos. and then doing all that sh*t, support would've been MUCH greater and protest MUCH less. whew! basically, I believe bush wanted this to happen quickly for 2 reasons: 1. to get it done quickly because the general belief among republicans, as I have always heard, is that war brings economic prosperity and this will enhance his re-election prospects next year, because quite frankly, he hasn't done sh*t domestically in his whole presidency. 2. because he thought iraq would be a quick and easy opponent that would boost morale and give people something to feel good about since 9/11. and as for your comment about using nukes? wtf? when did saddam ever use nukes against anyone? if he had, we wouldnt be having this disscussion.

go to bed junior and repeat after me 1000 times "I am not a sheep!"

BS, you have the right to speak your mind on any subject you wish. If I disagree with you I have the right to do so and point out why I disagree with what you posted.

The only person I see trying to stifle a freedom is you.

In a way you are correct, as this is a hidden warning saying (don't talk against bush or you will be flamed), i know i have sworn not to get into these threads, but, ah well... you know... i see every man that is trying to tell someone else that he cannot say whatever he wants to say a threat to the freedom that applies to both your country and mine...

You can be pro war, and still should want BUSH impeached.

Clinton was impeached after $40 million dollars was waisted for lieing about getting a blow job.

Regardless of you opinion on Clinton or Bush, based on the facts whats a -- well how should i put this -- what lie is a REAL lie.

I don't understand how people change their mind and opinion on what things are important and what aren't.

Remember, Clinton didn't just lie (all politicians do), he perjured himself before a (grand?) jury. Big difference...one is a legal question (Clinton) and one is a moral question (Bush).

Big difference indeed. Clinton lied, once, about getting a BJ. Bush lied, on many occaisions about many different things, to start a war. I don't understand how the two are even comparable.

Lets tear ourselves apart from within, so it's easier for those who hate us to tear us apart from afar.

On point #3. The putting off of this conflict......hmmm.

The more I watch this conflict the more I feel that the timing of the war has had a great deal to do with the success that we have seen by the US.

With every battle fought where our troops aren't subjected to WMD because of the conflict's quick pace, with every defection by an by Iraqis and Iraqi officers giving us intel, months, days, minutes seem to be precious commodities.

If it was presented that this war would not be winnable or a much greater costs if the US were to wait months for Saddam to make more secure his position would you want to wait, or would you paint the evidence, as any politician would, in its most compelling light?

Lies? This article, that article. Who will know the truth until all the dust settles?

The problem with Bush, and the reason he isn't getting along with the French, is that fact that he doesn't know how to speak out of both sides of his mouth at the same time. Unfortunately for them, he actually does what he says. That does not bode well with the ultra-liberal French and other anti-America socialists. The Great Stainmaker was much better in this regard, he'd just say whatever anybody wanted to hear and then do nothing. He was lucky and rode the wave, unfortunately, it began to crash toward the end of his term. Now, those that have a spine have to pick up the pieces...

The war is going to be won, Iraq will be liberated, Bush will be re-elected, the Democratic party will continue it's current implosion. Life is good.

The Democratic party is sooo out of touch. The right has moved left, and in an effort to define itself, the left has moved even further left! Out to wacko land.

I'm pro-choice and pro-environment. Guess what, I'm a Republican. 15 years ago I was a Democrat. Think about it.
