Why did Canada get so owned by Sweden in men's hockey?

5, 1 (I think). The canadian team is made up of some great players but once things got going they just got killed. Are the rules wildly different in the Olympics, or perhaps they didn't have long to practice together? It seems that perhaps the canadians wanted to play rougher...

Actually 5-2 It was the torpedo offense......... damn you Swedes All in all the Canadians played 2 good periods......... just the second one cost them

They gotta get used to the fact that the red line is not really in effect and the long passes ie. sundins first goal....... are going to happen. It's going to be a harder road to the metals but I think they will make it.

They were "owned" for only 10 min of that game.
In which they learned the disaster of abondoning their game plan and try to go to the cherry picking type of offence the Sweds used.
I watched that game and they owned the first and the 3 periods and lost it for 10 min in the second.
Hopefully it gells em quick!
