he posted the best deals! What happened to him?Back in the good times. The Joker Smoker days.
The Celeron 300A OC, probably the most famous OC of all time, IIRC an equivalent Pentium was around $600. This was THE place to learn all about it (and a lot more!).
To speak my mind.
And share technical knowledge.

I originally joined around 1999 because I heard about this place from another forum I can't remember the name of. It became PcAbusers a years later, but I don't know what it was before that. I used it sparingly until I decided to start using it actively in 2001 due to the sheer amount of post and activity. PcAbusers was going down in activity at the time. I had to create a new account because I originally had @home (anyone remember that???) and it was bought out by Comcast and I didn't have access to reset the password. So I rejoined as LikeLinus01 and the admins changed me back to LikeLinus. So it's been a long freaking time now that I think of it.
@home was SOOOOOOO much better than Comcast. Honestly, it took Comcast probably 10 years to get to the same speeds that we had with @home. I hated that they were bought out. But it is what it is....lol - @home was the first stock I ever bought online - Rode that thing from $14.00 down to $0.00 ..lessons learned
