Painkiller: Redemption was released today. Steam has it for $4.49. That's right, $4.49 for 7-10 hours of carefree killing.
Is this a completely new game or something like Painkiller 1.5?
Mission objectives and collecting objects? What exactly are you talking about? The only objective I ever recall in Painkiller is kill everything in your particular area, and once you've completed that, the next area opens, and you repeat.Tried hard to get into these games, but having to collect garbage in a specific order, time, and place got to be really damn annoying. And if you dont do the specific mission objectives you wont unlock the cool shit you need to actually enjoy the damn game.

No, I played on the absolute hardest mode actually, and there is still no mission objectives that I ever remember. You must be playing on easy mode. There are no cards to be used there. You have to go up to normal or above for using the cards.

I realize there are entirely optional secret areas and various things to do if you'd like to unlock a few cards. If you don't like the process of getting them however, then why bother? Your not really missing anything.
You disagree about what? That the cards don't add anything? Or that there aren't mission objectives?I disagree.

Oh I hope its nothing like Resurrection, that game was absolute garbage. The other painkiller games were awesome though.

What do you mean new AI? I've just played a bit of the first level and haven't noticed any difference in it. Same engine, graphics, some new stuff, just as I suspected...bought it anyway cause I like the priceI'm not sure what you mean, but from what I can gather, a lot of the same and a lot of new. Mostly the same weapons and monsters, but new maps, a couple new weapons/monsters and new AI.
I wish. Bulletstorm is nothing like Painkiller.Yeah, it's called Bulletstorm, lol...
