Ok, people ask this question over and over. I don't mind answering, but I'm sick of typing it out over and over.
So this provides me a thread to link in my sig so people will stop asking.
"G" Rated Version (useful for telling parents and strangers) - One time when we were flying in the airplane, she tuned in the Disney AM radio station on the ADF and was listening to something in the background while I was busy flying. I looked over and out of the corner of my eye, I noticed her right leg was moving in beat to the music and her foot was "Thumping" the floor of the cockpit. I looked at her, smiled, and said "Like this song Thumper?"
Given that it was the Disney station, that is what I thought of, the rabbit in the movie Bambi, and cause she was "thumping" her foot on the floor.
It would have ended there, but then this happened:
"R" Rated Version (this is why I still call her Thumper) - As many of you know, she is hypersexual, she has at least as much sex drive as I do. I've commented in the past that Thumper likes to punch me in the arm when she wants sex (it is her way of asking for it without asking for it). Now, what do rabbits do a lot of? What does she want a lot of? What do I want to do to her? Hence, "Thumper" is her nickname...
Yea, I really do call her this sometimes in real life, this isn't an Internet thing... Not all the time of course, but just here and there...
Grasshopper is her nickname for me, it started off with a "G" Rated Version too. I fly helicopters, thus I fly from random landing spot to random landing spot, often in the grass. She thinks the helicopter looks like a little grasshopper from a distance (the first time she saw it anyway), and so she called me Grasshopper.
That's the "G" rated version. The "R" rated version shouldn't be too hard to figure out, even if it doesn't really apply anymore since she switched from trimming to shaving clean, but that doesn't matter, she thinks it's cute, I don't mind, so we play with it...
