It was like this:

Guy abuses girl, so girl's self esteem is lowered and she feels less than him
Guy turns around and wants to continue relationship, girl feels special that a guy "higher" than her is interested in her...takes it...
More enjoyable sexual expirence for the girl, because she still believes this was a guy they'd never have...


Thats the very basic part of it... just the jist of it as I remember.


This would apply more to abusive relationships...along same lines...

Yup, sounds about right!

I don't know WHY women are like this, but I can vouch for the fact they are.

I even had women in the past say they wouldn't go out with me because I was "Just too nice a guy"

so what is wrong with these guys that you dont want to get close to them? what qualites do they have that turn you away from it becoming a date-date? then look at the qualities of the guys that treat you like dirt. ask yourself what turns you on that.

You have to draw up some reasonable standards for yourself, be willing to match some guy with high standards, and then stick to it and not settle for less. The fact that you're falling at all is one of your problems, I'd wager. Stepping forward is very different than falling flat on your face. With the first you stay equal with the guy, the second you're on the floor. The question is whether or not you can hold yourself to deciding intelligently or can't help your actions. Self-control, self-esteem, and non-conformity.
