In my observation, the only thing that distinguishes Jews from Non-jews is their religion. I know a few who have delusions of persecution which seem to be based on things that happened to their grandparents, but I think if they weren't jewish they would just have different insecurities instead (i.e. I htink they are naturally insecure, and being Jewish is just the outlet they're using).

Actually, I was taught to be a protestant Christian, and I am not.

My father was taught to be a jew, and is a Protestant Christian.

One of my good friends was raised Muslim and now considers himself a Buddhist.

And fortunately, jews in most of the world aren't actually taught to hate anything, though the culture of hatred is pretty damaging to both sides in the middle east conflict.

No, my father explored and read and went to services, and came to the conclusion that he believed in Jesus and his teachings. He's actually quite different, theologically, from most of the people at his church (not a particularly fundamentalist church, either - United), but he accepts the basic teachings of Jesus WRT forgiveness, attitude towards others, the importance of love and respect, etc.

People can't be molded to whatever you want them to be, though they can certainly be influenced.

Muslims as an image has been threatened by the introduction of wahabism. This is more so strict that judasim. I try to look more at the scientific possiblity of two men impregnating one another or the possibility of a man impregnating a goat (BTW, sex with a goat is probably higher in Pakistan than any other country). I think Pakistan would have a higher number of goat lovers.
