Why do people find dimples attractive?

It's like cellulite of the face. Show me a single female with deep dimples that doesn't look like an obese 50 year old if you cut off everything about the lips. Obviously, it doesn't generally apply to males since they have less fat on their face and more distinct jawlines, but they just tend to look zombie-like. I have dimples when my weight is low enough...probably down another 10lbs when I get them back. I got a lot of compliments when I had them, I just ran with it. My guess is it makes cheekbones/jawlines more prominent.

That photo came from a website that listed supposedly attractive facial features. I don't know how it makes cheekbones more prominent though, when swelling from dimples obscures the former. For the latter... ehhhh maybe. It's kind of like carving across the front of a person's face with a knife, drawing people into the edges of their warped mug.

I'm not saying that they are a result of obesity. I'm saying that they make a person look obese, even when they aren't. For example...

Look at that. That is what I mean by cellulite of the face. She has all these weird and irregular pits, and the way her face tucks into her jaw makes her look like she's growing a double chin.

Now look at this:

A perfectly attractive young lady when she isn't transforming her face into cottage cheese. People that get dimples should really look into botox or maybe a heavy layer of foundation, because looking like an inanimate mannequin is better than that.

I have never understood why people like dimples, either. Dimples in post 5 take her from a solid 8 to a weak 7. I'd probably make her get plastic surgery if she wanted to date me. Would have to see her IRL first though since they aren't too deep. Might let it slide for a one night stand.
