Quite true....but we're talking here about "Why do people hate Jews". This is one reason....their insistance on retaining beliefs and traditions that fly in the face of the majority of the people around them. This anti-woman thing my GF and I witnessed, for sure made her hate. I don't blame her for that at all.....

Probably because christianity's holy book contains the statements that the jews are the chosen people, better and above all. That is kinda odd tho, christians are just a sect of judaism...

oh yeah, and it aint a myth about jews in the economy. There was an article in my local newspaper with the religions of lots of actors and business people and politicians. For being 2% of the population, there were a helluva lot more jews in those positions.

Jews are, typically, succesfull. Look at Israel, they turned what was nothing but a pile of dirt into the biggest economy in the middle east. People hate success, just like Liberal hate the rich.

Sweet Christ (no pun intended) you went to an Orthodox Jewish wedding and were pissed/decided to hate, simply because they didn't adhere to YOUR beliefs? Now, if they were throwing their beliefs in your face, that's one thing, but you WENT of your own volition. So are they supposed to take a poll beforehand to find out if anyone will be offended? How does your girlfriend know that it was "anti-woman"? Neither of you know anything about Orthodox Judaism, by your own admission, but you got pissed because it was something you didn't expect? Jeez, I guess what they say about ignorance is true. You need to broaden your horizons.

I did? no, i did not, i wish there was peace, and if you would have read the WHOLE post, you would have seen where i mentioned that there are TWO terrorist leaders... get rid of both of them... I wish that Rabin would have been allowed to live... then there would have been peace, which would be the best solution for both sides...

And you are right, but do all arabs live in the middle east? nope, do all arabs hate jews, everyone here is generalizing, i did the same...

I did answer the question regarding why germans hated the jews, they simply needed someone to blame...

I did answer the question regarding why (some) arabs hate (some) jews, it is simply because the jews are enemies...

Well, Hubris, the point is we went to that Orthodox wedding and found out by observing, things about this faith we never knew before. She didn't like the anti-woman part she saw....I didn't much care for it either. Her attitude toward Jews in general, was changed for the worse. This is why that one woman and her newly acquired view, answers the question "Why do people hate Jews". Get it?

Here's another thing I learned at that wedding. I never knew before that day about alcoholism and the Jewish faith. Before the wedding, all the men gathered in a room (women in another room). Everyone of these men was drinking hard liquor like there was no tomorrow. I swear every man in the whole place was drunk before the service started. (the women also, from what my GF told me). This is supposed to be a religous service? Everyone mostly drunk? Sorry if I cannot see anything about this whole scene I like.
