Why do people walk so slow?

that they will walk slow, but even skinny people in America walk slow as hell. If I try to walk that slow I have to take a 1 second pause in between steps

Its a sign of power.. If you are in control of your time you should never be in a rush. You ever see a high ranking manager or executive walking fast as if he reports to someone? Nope.

I'm a slow walker unless I need to get somewhere. What is more annoying when the group has decided on a certain pace but there is that one guy who likes to walk fast walking ahead of us and stops and waits occasionally. Yes I had a friend in high school who did this... He was weird.

Yeah, I don't get it either. She falls behind but only a certain distance and maintains that. Maybe it's genetics. Servant mode and all.

I'm not in a rush though. I don't see the point in doubling the time it takes to walk somewhere by walking as slow as my 91 year old Grandma.

Slow walkers are the bane of my existence. I don't mind if you walk slow by yourself and keep to the side of the sidewalk. Usually these idiots meander back and forth like they're drunk making it difficult to go around them. Sometimes they're trying to text and walk at the same time. Either that or they walk side by side down the sidewalk making it impossible to go around them without walking into the street or the grass.

I walk fast and I'm never in a hurry. I can still enjoy the walk, and it's better exercise. Not sure why you would ever intentionally walk slower than a brisk pace. Unless you're fat and out of shape.

Going to the grocery store usually throws me into a rage. I wish they installed air horns on shopping carts.

Also, it annoys the shit out of me when you are in the Cheese, Butter,Eggs section of the store and you want to grab something out of the cooler but some asshole is just standing there...chilling by the cooler. You ask if they can move but they don't know you're talking to them. You want to just ram them out of the way with the cart and grab what you want and go.
