Not for me. Piles of pillows or towels being "displayed" that take up perfectly good space makes zero sense to me.

You're assuming that the big-pimpin' only ever have one or two people in their bed at a time. Everyone who takes part in the orgy needs at least one.

I HATE towels that aren't supposed to be used.

The point is that if you walk into a house and are shocked by the number of pillows, that means you couldn't afford to even lay under their bed. That's your sign to lower your head and avoid eye contact so as not to challenge dominance, and then slowly back out of the house. As soon as you clear the threshold, turn around and run back to your pillowless bed and cry yourself to sleep.

That made me lol.

Exactly. It makes no sense whatsoever to anyone who has a Y chromosome.

Yeah when I was staying at a luxury suite at the Luxor one night, the king sized bed had at least 8 pillows on there. I threw 6 of them on the ground and slept with 2.

The woman did it.

So do I. My wife bought a set, but I used them anyway. Now they sit in the linen closet until guests come. They disappear once the guests do....

Anyhoo, pillows... I have 2 for my head, the wife has 1 for hers and a body pillow when pregnent (as she is now =). She only buys decorative pillows for the couch & chairs... Naturally, I use them as pillows...

I guess in those cases the pillows are of different sizes and hardnesses, so whatever would suit the customer best is used.

But at home, it still doesn't make sense.

Just about all hotels that I stay at have like 8 pillows or more. I throw all but one on the ground. The next day, they are all back on the bed again.

I personally have a lot of pillows on my bed and they aren't there for decoration, I'm really using them, it's comfortable to lie among them. Seriously.

Ding Ding Ding

We have a winner

We now know who's not getting any action in bed (all posters prior to LolaWiz).

Prop 2 or 3 pillows on top of each other and a whole new angle of fun begins
