Why Do Some Women Live Their Entire Lives in Denial?

Simple Question. Normally I would post this in OT - but I'm sure some PC people would get a little touched.

It never ceases to amaze me the kind of crap I see daily as some women go out of their way to try to find public approval for their actions. Oh, you worked OH so hard looking after your child and making sure he doesn't stick forks into electrical outlets. You worked SOOOO Hard! Like, WAAAAY harder than your husband that woke up at 5 am to get professionally dressed, commuted to work and gets home at 7 pm

There is an obvious appeal to try to get approval from people, hence things such as posting _EVERY_ single action on Facebook and hoping for approval likes and comments. It's downright pathetic and sad. I really feel for the poor guys that have to deal with these types. Normally I don't try to make a gender issue out of this, but after looking around for quite some time I finally realized that I couldn't find a single male that posted this kind of junk. Things like this show the CLEAR mental instability that is present in people (particularly millennials) where they falsely tell each other every day how hard they worked.

But anyhow, let's go through a few examples, shall we?

Oh Woe is me! I'm always working SO hard. What with feeding my child and watching stupid shows on TV, how will I ever have time to do something like post on Facebook every 15 minutes and reply to all your comments? I have JUST enough time to do that!

Ever wonder why all TV during the working day-time is complete crap? Hint: Target audience.

OH BOY! I worked SOOOO hard this week at work that my boss gave me this ULTRA COOL EXCLUSIVE $10 gift card to a shitty fast food place. Everyone look at me, I got a $10 gift card! Only the most elite people get this! It's definitely not a cheap gift to give a peon employee the false mental image that you are working hard to continue doing so. Nope nope nope...

How about asking for a fat bonus for year end profits? Ohhhh, you aren't quite up to that status yet? Oh ok.

Moved from P&N because... well... it's neither politics nor news.

I'm sure women are just as confused by how insane many men get about sportsball. Also, there are definitely males that do shit like this, have you met Trident?

Women do alot of hard work that doesn't necessarily have a dollar figure attached. Home making and all that.

In modern day the problem still remains of how to raise a kid the first few years until they start school. Someone has to stay home with them. Daycare isn't as good of an alternative. Besides it practically costs as much as you make working.

This issue affects millennials the most because its one of the first generations to have alot of women in the workforce while we are all in our 20's and the house formation and birth rate are abysmal.

To be honest I have no clue how most people are going to do it. I guess they just don't.

The problem is mostly requiring a two income household, especially when young.

Why do some men live their entire lives in denial? Like, for example, the OP, who apparently thought this was worth anybody's time?

but da wimmens are th devul

rememer adem an evee?

*Ptooey*

Out of all the complaints OP could have about society, it's about women wanting approval from others. What about gamers wanting approval from others? That shiz is annoying. Or how about that rapacious Saudi Arabian prince? Now that's something to get mad about.

I'll defer to Steve Hughes.

This is a news thread? It is news to no one posting here that the OP is lonely and without the company of a woman. Hate them all you want, just don't bore us with your incoherent musings...

Considering I'm married, I'm fairly sure that I don't live alone.

Also, since when is P&N only about current news? Amongst all the feminism rift raft, I have yet to see anyone do something DAUNTING like challenge the notion that men and women do the exact same things, and are capable of the same exact things.

In denial of what, exactly? Some people are just attention whores, and women that are like that are now using social media to meet their needs. Men that are like that have traditionally used different means, mostly in the form of status symbols like cars, houses, corner offices, etc.

You can be married and still not live in the same house. Not all marriages are happy ones.

Because this isn't news, this is just you being a belligerent towards women who get a kick out of whatever shred of excitement they found. It's not like men do the same thing, either. Nope. Nuh-uh. Never happens. No sir.

Get off yer rocking chair and put away the shotgun.

Homemaking or fostering a good growing environment for healthy responsible children is the world's toughest and most thankless job. It shouldn't even take someone who labels themselves as feminist to demand respect for stay-at-home mothers and/or fathers.

I can honestly say that without any parent at home to raise those children during their formative years, these children aren't truly being raised adequately. Unfortunately parents want it all, including children and material wealth, and something eventually has to give. I call it the Great American Lie, perpetrated on us since the Nixon Administration. It has mostly destroyed the cohesiveness of the American family.

In some ways these parents are still juvenile themselves, actively craving the joys of having children with minimal amount of sacrifice. Instead they probably would be better off with a pet first. And who suffers most is those children who get raised into the OP and society as a whole.

Try taking care of a kid less than 6 months old all day, for a week. We'll see you trying to find support on here within the first 12 hours.

God forbid the kid has colic. You'd probably swallow a gun.

yes the work at home is so hard
i listen women complain they are the victims they have to stay home and work harder than a man who only have to go to his work
so when i say to them
okey you go to have a work and i will do the rest
they freak out
and they all say FUCK NO
you are the man (suddenly gender) you work YOU BRING MONEY
and i say
you are the woman i will not hold you
you will go to work
and because you are better than men you will get a better job
and earn more than me
and let poor me do the house works
you know do all this things same time
press the button on washing machine put food on oven and turn the button
and wash the floor
ouffffffffffffffffffffffffff
but no worries i will manage to do it

when washing clothes meant going to the river and do it physical that was hard work
when cooking meant to go out to chop wood and bring home to kill the chicken and clean it then cooking was a hard job

having to work in the fields and in the garden to be sure you will have food that was hard job

and fuck no
if they consider it this HARD lets change
they go out and i stay in my pitzamas all day long
do bubble baths
and try to look good for her when she returns lol
yes it will be ahrd to have nails and not break them while doing the house work
what a nightmare

Having raised two kids:
I'd take raising a child 24-7 any day over having to spend 50 hours a week driving to and from work and working. I have a job that pays well and it has it's up and downs. Months of joy mixed in with months of frustration.

What can go wrong, I notice the dirty diaper 6 minutes after the incident instead of 5 minutes. I'll take that any day over having a software app with a drop dead date being late.

Nah, infants are simple. My daughter is 14 months, and she was SOOOOO much easier to take care of when she was a few months old. Stick her in a playpen with a doll that made noise and she was in heaven. I could get all sorts of work done while she was entertaining herself. As soon as she started walking and talking, she's demanded fairly constant attention. But it's clear that the OP has no experience whatsoever with taking care of kids or he wouldn't be such an unrepentant douchehose about it.

Remember kids, it's perfeclty acceptable to stereotype men, but NEVER woman. They are all perfect, innocent, and slave ALL DAY long.
