Because 95% of the time, the computer does what you tell it to do. Aside from hardware failures, problems are easily resolved either by patch, workaround or reformat. I find it fun sometimes to troubleshoot things. For instance, I just installed front USB ports because my 7 port Hub is getting a little too inconvienant. Well, when I went to plug the cable into the motherboard, it wouldn't work. After some searching I found out out that I had to change the wire placement to correspond to my motherboard pins. Wasn't that difficult and I'm guessing anyone would have just figured it was broken.
